Synopsis : In Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Dwayne Johnson stars as Hank Parsons, Sean Anderson’s (Josh Hutcherson) stepfather. Sean forces Hank to bring him on a trip to a mythical and monstrous island to find his missing grandfather played by Michael Caine. Vanessa Anne Hudgens also stars in this movie as Kailani, a tour guide and Hutcherson’s love interest. The script is loosely based on Jules Verne’s The Mysterious Island novel.
