Saint Seiya Movie: Legend of Sanctuary Synopsis

The film follows Saori Kido, a young girl troubled by her mysterious powers. She is saved by Pegasus Seiya from an assassin sent to kill her. Saori then learns she is the reincarnation of the Goddess Athena with Seiya being one of her 88 Saints. Upon learning of her destiny, she heads to the Sanctuary and wage war against its Pope.

Seiya, alongside fellow Bronze Saints Cygnus Hy?ga, Dragon Shiry?, Andromeda Shun, and Phoenix Ikki must pass through the twelve Zodiac Temples in Athena’s Sanctuary in twelve hours, in order to save their goddess Athena from imminent death. They must confront each of the twelve Gold Saints that guard each of the temples in order to reach the cure that will save Athena.

Filem ini mengisahkan Saori Kido, Perempuan muda yang mengalami masalah dengan kuasa misterinya. Dia diselamatkan oleh Pegasus Seiya dari pembunuh upahan yang dihantar untuk membunuhnya. Beliau juga mengetahui bahawa beliau adalah kelahiran semula dewi Athena dengan Seiya adalah salah seorang dari 88 walinya. Beliau telah pergi ke kawasan perlindungan dan menetang Pope.

Seiya, bersama dengan pengikutnya Bronze Saints Cygnus Hy?ga, Dragon Shiry?, Andromeda Shun, dan Phoenix Ikki mesti lulu melalui dua belas kuil Zodiac di kawasan perlindungan Athena dalam masa dua belas jam bagi menyelematkan dewi Athena dari kematian yang bakal berlaku. Mereka mesti menetang dua belas wali emas yang mengawal kuil tersebut untuk mendapatkan penawar bagi menyelamatkan Athena
