Pada tahun 1976 di Nice, Agnes , anak perempuan pemilik Palais de la Méditerranée , jatuh cinta dengan Maurice , penasihat peribadi ibunya dan peguam. Maurice juga seorang wanita tetapi Agnes mencintai dia bingung dan mereka memulakan urusan ghairah. Dimanipulasi, Agnes memutuskan untuk mengundi terhadap ibunya pada mesyuarat lembaga dalam pertukaran tiga juta francs disediakan oleh bos mafia. Dia akan menyesal keputusannya sejak Maurice berakhir meninggalkannya. Dia cuba untuk membunuh diri dan hilang secara misteri pada tahun 1977

story of the fatal power that struggles among a casino queen, her rebellious daughter and the playboy lawyer
who betrayed one and beguiled the other.
In 1976 in Nice, Agnes, the daughter of the owner of the Palais de la Méditerranée, falls in love with Maurice, her mother’s personal adviser and lawyer. Maurice is also a ladies’ man but Agnes loves him madly and they begin a passionate affair. Manipulated, Agnes decides to vote against her mother at a board meeting in exchange of three million francs provided by a mafia boss. She will regret her decision since Maurice ends up leaving her. She attempts to kill herself and disappears mysteriously in 1977…
