Synopsis: Set in a quaint French village during the late 18th century, “Beauty and the Beast” follows the fantastic adventures of Belle, a bright and beautiful young woman who yearns to escape from her mundane life and the advances of a boorish suitor, Gaston, which she does so by reading books. However, Belle is about to embark on an adventure of her lifetime when she is soon held captive in a castle by a prince, who is cursed to look like a Beast after angering an enchantress, while his servants are transformed into animated household objects. The only way to remove the curse is for the Beast to discover true love before the last petal falls from an enchanted rose or, should he fail, he will remain as a beast forever.
